I just have received your Alexandrite! Thanks a lot! It is
somewhat darkish, but otherwise very nice pure green in the daylight, but what
really impresses
me is the flawless purple-red nighttime color, which this Alexandrite readily
displays even under halogen tungsten lamps. Some Alexandrites still keep
a blackish-greenish-purplish color under, say, a 60W tungsten light bulb, and
perform really poorly under the halogens, but not your stone! It readily
changes to the 100% purple color with a nice addition of red, and no traces of
green are visible! Many other high quality synthetic Alexandrites, which
I own, don't have this nice addition of red, and even then become 100% purple
only in candlelight or under a very low power tungsten bulbs, even then
showing some green sparks :-( Your stone has a truly 100% change of color going
from daylight to incandescent light, and that is the really strong side
of this stone! This performance is totally worth the $85/ct. price tag!

natural near flawless
1/2 carat ruby pendant. The stone is obviously lovely, but has less fire
than the geolite one and is a slightly pinker colour.

Wanted to let you know I got the stone on Saturday and had it set yesterday.
I lucked into a local jeweler that liked my ring and its story (I guess) as
he did the work for free (highly unusual anywhere but especially here). He was
initially unexcited with the gem when he had it under his work light,
but once it was in the ring and he saw it under more normal conditions, he was
fairly impressed. I am, too! I rarely write fan mail, but it looks amazingly
great and makes me happy just having it on, so I figured I better send an

I received the alexandrite gemstone yesterday. I
am glad that I went with the larger stone. It is beautiful and has great color
change.
I see teal amethyst-like purple, with hints of emerald when I shine a white led
flashlight on it. And it looks very clean, although I have not
looked at it under magnification. But, I am extremely pleased with it. I can't

Hi Geolite! I just got the lab created corundum ruby I ordered from you that was
only $47. It is beautiful. I took it to my jeweler to have
it set into a setting I already own and he did not think it could be a lab
created corundum for only $47. He thought it is a cubic zirconia
colored red. I assured him that when I purchased it from you that it was sold to
me as a lab created corundum ruby. So my question to
you is why are your lab created corundum rubies so inexpensive than some on the
web? I have found lab created red ruby corundums up
to $500 for the size I bought from you. Are they just way over priced or are you
selling for a fairer price? Please assure me it is a true lab
created ruby that I bought and not a cubic zirconia. Thanks so much! It is

I know that an alexandrite is suppose to be a two color change stone but this one has three colors. Under flourescent light it's teal, under incandescent light it's purple and in daylight it's green.
