Ruby is the red member of the
corundum (Al2O3)
family. All other colors (not just blue) are called sapphires. The red color of ruby is due to chromium doping. Our lab grown or
created synthetic ruby gems have
the same composition and physical properties, but have higher perfection than is usually
seen in natural rubies. We are able
to offer lab-grown ruby gemstones at a small fraction of the cost of comparable natural
rubies. We can also set these gemstones for you in silver or
